After choosing and saving the concerns on the Concerns & Protocols tab, all the concerns are now entered across the top of the Sessions tab. Now you need to get baseline (pretreatment) ratings. Ask the client to rate each problem for “bad”, “good” and “usual” week using a 0 (not a problem) to 10 (severe problem) scale. In the case of children, it is better to ask their parents. With older teens, both the teen and their parents can contribute concerns for the list.

It is important that ratings start fairly high such that the average score for Bad, Good and Usual weeks is at least a 5. If the average is below a 5, the concerns fields will be in orange.

At this point, you are ready to start recording progress and protocols either at this session if you are doing a neurofeedback session or the next time the client comes in.
